We wrapped the video for Sunken Ships earlier this year. The video is directed by Paul Orehovec and I am really excited about sharing Paul’s vision very soon. Paul is also a musician which is how we met because I was booking bands in North Hollywood last year when I first met him and we’ve been friends ever since. He is now a Mad For Sadness veteran and when he plays he uses the moniker Paul Monjee so be sure to check him out!
It was a very easy shoot. The location was my apartment and a block or so around it and we were really lucky to have the incredible crew Paul organized to help out including a newish company called Drone Dudes who are a 2 man operation literally flying a drone with a camera on it.
A special thank you to Chris Sticker, Vern Evans, David Navarre and the Drone Dudes Andrew Peterson & Jeffrey Blank.
I’ll be posting a blog soon with shots of the whole day and the Drone Dudes in action with the rest of our lovely crew and wonderful director all courtesy of Alex Kinnan of course!
I’d like to than my neighbor Joya Martuscello for letting us use her apartment and I’d also like to thank my neighbors Jesse Hart Benson and Sharlene Durfey for being cool about the noise and generally all being great neighbors!
More news on the video very soon.
